VWW is a Lehigh Valley (Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton) record label, originally established in 1999 as a recording and management organization.  Having been in the music business for years as players, sound techs and marketers, we’ve experienced the hills and valleys of this business. We frequently found ourselves dispensing advice to artists just starting out so they wouldn’t step in the same tar pits we had.

In an age when music has become a business commodity, we still consider it our passion, our world, our lifestyle. We specialize in artists who feel the same way, who are starting out and can’t find an outlet for their music without selling their soul. VWW does not specialize in any specific style or look – the artists on out label are free to be themselves and express themselves regardless of the type of music they play.

Many of the bands featured on our web site, were met through our sister company ChurchHouse Productions recording studio. As we worked with bands in the studio, that little light went off that says, “Why don’t we release this music ourselves?”  So began Velvet Wrinkle Wreckerds.

Our staff covers the range of expertise you need at a label: recording, graphics, web design, and marketing. The one thing we all have in common is an independent streak – the artist comes first. We’re not big on posting staff bios (we’re very shy-go figure), but feel free to email us and ask questions. We’re always happy to swap stories or give advice when asked.

We believe in the artists and we believe in the recordings. That’s our quality control. We’re serious about what we do, but it’s got to be fun. That’s how we keep it about the music. Ain’t no cubicles or suits here - Welcome to VWW.
